Maxxi focused on the distribution of agriculture equipment (alat mesin pertanian), such as combine harvester, tractor, and rotavator for mainly farmer in Indonesia.

Company Overview

Introducing Maxxi's e-commerce website: A collaboration with Maxxi to transform Maxxi website into modern, innovative, and user-friendly website. Maxxi focused on the distribution of agriculture equipment (alat mesin pertanian), such as combine harvester, tractor, and rotavator for mainly farmer in Indonesia.

Goals
  1. To provide up to date information and serve as an e-commerce platform.
  2. To provide the latest product information and updates to our customers, so they can make informed decisions.
  3. To showcase the benefits of using farming machineries
  4. To provide location information, so farmers can come to our showroom locations across Indonesia.
  5. To provide contact information (email/WA/phone) to farmers
  6. Farmers can purchase spare parts and services, like equipment maintenance and repair, through the website

Problem

Their current website doesn't provide clear information and serves as an e-commerce website where it should be able for farmers to buy & rent products. The second one is no goal that needs to be achieved by the farmer on this website. The last problem is website looks outdated, has overwhelming imagery, and has a poor hierarchy.

Inspiration

The client really wants the website to look reliable, powerful, modern (from ineffective manual work to mechanization), and relatable to the farmer. I was thinking to give a key visual that represent Maxxi brand and thinking Bold Cycles did it very well almost X-like shape.

Ideation

Creative Solutions

For the creative direction we decided to go with modern, innovative, and user-friendly experience. There are 3 key design concept for this website:

  1. Website serve as an e-commerce. It should able farmer to buy & rent product.
  2. User-friendly website, which is useful and usable for farmer.
  3. Desirable looking.
