Firmin-Didot, a family of French printers, punch-cutters, and publishers, gained renown for their illustrated editions of the classics, as well as for publishing inexpensive editions of scholarly texts. Making classic works—be they artistic, philosophical, or literary—available to a broad audience was only part of the family's influence, however. The family's most lasting legacy is the Didot family of fonts, designed by Firmin Didot, which influences typography to this day.
The booklet is a little book that comes in many shapes and sizes but is generally smaller than books at 4-48 pages or so, with a paper cover. This booklet that I made tells a story about Didot's fonts such as history, uniqueness, family, et cetera. so people can understand what Firmin Didot really made with his beautiful and superb legacy.
The booklet needs to represent the uniqueness of the font which I stressed more about the curves as an emphasis and the color contrast which creates a depth look. Color contrast made this design really work, Didot is a classic but elegant font which I stressed with gold color and combines with white and black to make it a more exclusive feel.
